I’m David E. Thomas, a designer, educator, and visual artist focused on creating experiences that are clear, thoughtful, and easy to understand. My background in education, art, and human-centered design has shaped the way I approach communication, problem-solving, and user experience.

Before moving deeper into UX, I spent years teaching art and designing curriculum for diverse classrooms. That experience taught me how to break down complex ideas, observe how people interact with systems, and improve experiences through feedback, iteration, and real-world constraints.

My work blends research, visual design, and structured thinking. I’m especially interested in usability, instructional design, onboarding, and projects that help people navigate information more clearly and confidently.

Whether I’m designing a digital product, building curriculum, or creating public-facing visual work, my goal is the same: reduce friction, respect the user, and make complex systems easier to understand.
