About The Path Forward

The Path Forward was created as a reminder that progress isn’t abstract—it’s built step by step, through effort, direction, and belief in what comes next.

This mural was designed for a school community, which meant thinking beyond aesthetics. I wanted the imagery to feel motivating without being preachy, and aspirational without feeling unrealistic. The composition centers on movement and direction, using scale, color, and structure to guide the eye forward. The goal was to create something students could see themselves in—not just as viewers, but as participants in their own futures.

The Path Forward reflects how I approach public work overall: with intention, responsibility, and respect for the people who inhabit the space every day. My hope is that this mural continues to encourage reflection, momentum, and confidence—long after the paint has dried.
